This is a painting of my cat.  As I raise money for the Hervey Foundation For Cats (www.herveycats.com) I would like to create cards of this picture to support the foundation.  As it is a great expense to get the cards done, your feedback regarding interest in cards would be greatly appreciated.  The cards would be $4.50.  I will be posting soon my other cards that I have done to support the Foundation soon on this site.

Poppy II

From time to time with my daily paintings, I do work from photos.  With most of my work, especially coloured pencil, working from photos is mandatory.  This is why I paint as much as I can from life to see the rich and bold colours that are not as evident from a photograph.

Lemons N Bowl

With most of my daily paintings, I enjoy painting from life.  I like the challenge of setting up a still life and seeing all the colours on a given composition.  I wanted this painting to be more expressive and focusing on brush strokes and of course bright colours.
