This was towards the end of the photo shoot with my father. I wanted to stop and capture the light before the sun was setting. Supposedly on this particular gravel road, rows of trees grew and touched together at the tops. Making a nice shaded bridge for one to drive under. It must have been quite beautiful at one time. Unfortunately the Government created a make work project and those trees disappeared thus leaving wide open spaces of land where one can see for miles and miles.

Prairie Gold
I have decided to explore other subject areas. This past summer my dad and I went driving around the country side with the purpose of taking photos of landscapes. I wanted to explore clouds and colours. Since it has been miserable outside, I couldn't help but attempt a visual escape to a summer's eve. The smell of barley in the evening that has baked in the hot sun is always a welcoming aroma.
